Introit Systems Overview

Overview

Introit Systems, LLC. provides e-commerce solutions that accelerate the creation of and access to reusable component information. Introit's products and services are currently focused on electronic component content.

General Experience

Introit’s partners and employees have a unique intersection of capabilities that directly support our customer’s needs:

  • Enterprise experience – We are a group of industry experts that uniquely understand and appreciate the end-user’s issues of supply chain management, design engineering, manufacturing, distribution, purchasing, content aggregation, and electronic catalogs – we have been there, and done that. We come from all of these enterprise operations, and we have many years of experience to back up our service and product solutions targeting enterprise operational needs. And we know how dirty content affects each enterprise department.
  • Virtual databases – We know how to build information access systems with virtual viewers and find engines tying far-flung enterprise operations together using a virtual viewer without the need to move databases together into a single database. Our find engine knowledge spans taxonomy and the search for parts without prior knowledge of part number or manufacturer, manufacturer, their divisions, and their acquisitions, attributes and their parametric values.
  • Migrated databases – Or we can perform ETL operations and integrate your electronic component database silos into a single repository providing a consistent access to an enterprise database. We know how to map different taxonomies and their leaf nodes and attributes.
  • Design engineering experience – We are a group of design engineers, component SME’s, and EE’s who have actually used many of the electronic component devices in designs that we developed for the electrical/electronic industries. We know what a design engineer is looking for as far as tools and content is concerned. We also know what attributes design engineers need to select a family of potential products – we call them core attributes.
  • Data organization specialists – We are taxonomists, digital librarians, and content architects who understand how to organize, add structure, and intelligence to content information, extract content from datasheets and other source types, and select the appropriate attributes for parametric and taxonomy-based search and selection.
  • Data content production systems – We have designed and built content production systems that acquire, place content into a classification scheme, and extracted content from pdf datasheets and other sources in support of data cleansing, data enhancement, and BOM scrubbing activities.
  • Content services – We provide a wide range of content related services that help our customers create a “golden database” and out-sourcing services that replace content intensive tasks with content expertise and trained staff that can clean BOMs, add structure to your content, add intelligence to your content at significantly lower costs.
  • Standards support – We have participated in the generation of worldwide standards – RosettaNet Technical Dictionary content, ECIX/SI2 interchange standards, and UN/SPSC taxonomy standards, and have:
    • Provided a framework for organizing content using hierarchical structures based on standards,
    • Added intelligence to content with XML tagging based on standards or custom implementations,
    • Provided mapping between standards taxonomies, leaf nodes, and attributes,
    • Provided exchange ready content for interoperable business to business communications, and
    • Built intelligent, internationally recognized database content for sharing standardized content; this includes taxonomies, attribute lists, thesaurus and lexicon generation, units of measure, etc.
