Alan Hald/ex-President and CEO MicroAge
Alan Hald built a Fortune 500 technology services company from scratch-
MicroAge. In 1976, Alan Hald co-founded MicroAge. Alan helped open one of
the first computer stores in the nation. Spanning a 24 year period of
time, he transitioned the company from start-up through explosive growth,
hard times, re-organizations, strategy shifts and launching new ventures.
MicroAge was a $4B company in the late 1990s.
He now works with CEO's and entrepreneurs who are also taking their
growth companies through similar challenging transitions. Most transitions
are very disruptive and risky, whose outcomes are uncertain. Alan's unique
experience, talent and perspective allow him to work with CEO's and
facilitate the creative, teaming and execution activities needed to effect
strategically focused change within a business under stress.
Alan Steinberg/ex-President and CEO DevelopOnline
Industry visionary Alan Steinberg brings more than 25 years experience
in high technology including product development, business strategy and
systems management. Steinberg co-founded DevelopOnline with the belief
that there is a more efficient and cost-effective way to bring new
technology to the marketplace and directly to the desktop of the design
engineer.
Steinberg held a number of positions spanning more than two decades at
Intel. These positions included strategy development for the embedded
processor lines, general management, entrepreneurialism, organization and
professional development. He has also held a number of executive positions
including general management, product development and strategic marketing
leadership at Intel and ITT. As the general manager of the I/O Processor
Division, Steinberg was responsible for more than $3 billion in revenue.
Steinberg earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from
Temple University in Philadelphia, Penn. He has attended executive
management development programs at Intel and has taught business and
technology at Intel University.
Tim Herring/President and CEO IntelliData, 1999 to current.
Tim has been in the electronic component business for over 21 years,
after graduating from California State University, Chico in 1981. Most
recently, Tim served as Director of Product Management for the Passive,
Electromechanical, and Connector (PEMCO) division of Arrow Electronics
(NYSE: ARW) earlier known as Capstone Electronics. For the 9 years that
Tim was at Arrow, most of his time was spent in inventory management and
in marketing passive components, specifically capacitors and resistors.
Prior to Arrow, Tim spent 9 years with specialty distributor Projections
Unlimited, Inc. (PUI). During that time PUI focused its efforts solely on
capacitors and resistors. His roles at PUI ranged from inside and outside
sales to regional/general sales management, where he opened branch
locations in Silicon Valley and Seattle.
These 21 years of experience focus on the specific issues and
complications of this segment of the electronic component industry and
bring to IntelliData.net great product and solution leadership. During his
time with IntelliData, Tim has helped lead the company to produce the
passive component industrys most innovative and cost saving
solutions through the development of data content and software. These
products have attracted top tier customers in both component manufacturer
and distributor segments.
